June 2009 or when entry limit of 200 is reached Courses: 26 miles with approx 4,880 feet of ascent. Start/Finish Venue: The Wyche Church of England Primary School, Malvern. WR14 4ET. Grid Ref SO 773 441 A full 26 mile route on and around the beautiful Malvern Hills. This is an undulating cross country route with a number of checkpoints providing food and drinks. Entrants will receive a full route description before the day. It is recommended that all participants carry OS maps Landranger 149 & 150 or Explorer 190, compass, food/drink, first aid and money. Participants must carry a mug as there will be no cups at the check points. This is a strenuous, undulating event and even in summer weather conditions could be poor. Sensible clothing and footwear is advisable. Start time: Walkers 08.00 Runners 09.00 Entry fee: £5 LDWA members / £7 non-LDWA members.
Fee includes route description, refreshments on
route, light meal at finish, certificate for all finishers. Event Secretary: Please note that there is no accommodation at the start venue. It is the responsibility of the entrant to arrange any necessary overnight accommodation.
